Christmas 2009
Dear friends and family,
A new year is coming, and this Christmas season finds the Young family blessed and optimistic. 2009 has been a wonderful year, and we’ve all been busy!
After much hard work and time, Mom and I finished a book about the life of my Grandpa and Grandma Young. We’ve been teaching others to make similar books preserving their family heritage.
Dad is still a horticulture buyer for Wal-Mart, but he’s moved to a new building off campus. He now buys perennials, shrubs and trees for every state in America instead of by region. He likes the changes.
Cameron and I have had a full year as well. He has stayed active in video editing and completed a number of projects. Cameron started testing for college credits in October and will graduate from high school next spring. I’m excited about getting my bachelor’s degree in General Management in 2010!
In March I was thrilled to find a newer car in our driveway! A 2008 Jeep Commander replaced our 1996 Jeep Cherokee (we like to keep our cars a long time). Our other big purchase this year was a generator! Now just watch: The electricity won’t go out this winter. Our entire family has spent a lot of time being involved in our community, working to improve the museum, park and commerce of Sulphur Springs. We’re all excited about 2010 and hope you are too! God bless you!
Love,
Aubrey
